We partner with the following organizations that have the same goal, but help people in many different ways:
- Operation Stand Down
- Division of Intellectual Disability Services
- Department of Rehabilitative Services
- Murray Security
- Veterans Administration
- Metro Nashville Social Services
- Tennessee Career Center
- Nashville State Community College
If you work with one of these agencies or another local nonprofit or government agency and have a client that would benefit from Goodwill's services, please fill out a referral form. A Goodwill career counselor will get in touch with you and your client to help him or her learn the skills needed to get and keep a job.
Goodwill is certified by the State of Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities and by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities to provide services to people with disabilities.
Goodwill funds most of its job training programs through the sale of donated items, however we do receive grants from the United Way, Davidson County Transit Authority, and the National Business College that also help us pay for our mission-based services.
