The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment & Training (SNAP E&T) prepares SNAP (formerly referred to as “Food Stamps”) recipients for employment through work-related education and training activities. Any SNAP recipient that does not receive TANF benefits can volunteer for the SNAP E&T program. Able-Bodied Adults without Dependents (ABAWDs) can also meet their 20-hour federal work/activity requirement by participating with SNAP E&T.
