Meet the newest members of Goodwill’s ad campaign

The "What You Give Me" campaign continues with three new spots

There’s a lot that can be told in a 30 second story.  Goodwill has more than 1,300 employees and each has a compelling story of their own. Choosing just two employees, whose stories could be told in the company’s new ads, started months before the director first said, “Action.”

Dozens of employees were interviewed.  Notes were taken and discussions were held.  Each story transfixed those involved in the process.  The choices were not made lightly.

What was it about the two employees who made the cut?  Dan and Rai’s paths to employment at Goodwill were circuitous.  And gut wrenching.  And uplifting.  They both came to Goodwill knowing the company is dedicated to helping everyone find work, despite disabilities or other barriers.  They were given jobs and they’ve succeeded beyond even their own expectations.

In our third spot, Heroes, we thank our donors because every item they give to Goodwill truly impacts and changes live.  Each donor is a hero to everyone at our Goodwill.  Even the smallest donation provides work, opportunities and job training.  What better way to let our donors know how much they’re appreciated then by the thanks they receive in this ad?  In it a young girl is thanked by some familiar faces for donating to Goodwill. Give a bike and you give work.

What You Give Me

Our award-winning television campaign, which features our Goodwill's employees, shares the real benefits of donating to Goodwill.  When you give to Goodwill you are giving more than just a dress that no longer fits or a lamp that doesn't suit your design and decor.  You give our employees work and a sense of purpose, dignity and hope.
