Construction Training Begins – Cockrill Bend

Participants attend classes five days per week for four weeks at one of our Goodwill facilities in West Nashville or South Jackson. Three hours of each day are spent in the classroom, and three are spent in the workshop. The course covers safety, construction math, hand and power tools, blueprints, rigging, weatherization, communication, forklift operation, employability skills and more. Graduates receive an OSHA 10 safety certification.

What You’ll Receive:
Students receive a stipend of $100 per week while in the program
OSHA 10 certification
Job placement services upon completion
Participants must register as a Goodwill Client and be on a free service plan with a Career Coach.
