Goodwill® and Google Partner for Events to Assist Job-Seekers

Goodwill and Google will offer two free workshops in Nashville to guide job-seekers in creating a professional resume that helps them stand out amid a crowd of job applicants.

The first session, Create a Resume in Google Docs, will be on Monday, June 24. Goodwill staff will provide hands-on training for participants, guiding them in the creation of a resume using Google docs. Participants will leave with a polished, ready-to-submit resume.

The second, Resume Review Workshop with Google, will be on Tuesday, June 25. Google volunteers will review participants’ resumes, provide feedback and make suggestions to help job seekers better represent their skills, expertise and abilities.

Both events will be held from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Goodwill Career Solutions Center at 937 Herman St. in Nashville.
