Whether you donate clothing and home goods, shop in our stores and Outlets or make a monetary donation to Goodwill, your generosity creates opportunities for individuals across Middle and West Tennessee to overcome barriers, gain skills and achieve financial stability.

Together, we made a profound impact in 2024, serving more than 8,550 individuals, placing nearly 1,175 into jobs and delivering 35,000 education, training and employment activities, from job fairs and classes to specialized training in high-demand fields like Construction and IT.

These accomplishments represent more than numbers — they reflect lives transformed through your compassion and commitment. Every day, people walk through our doors carrying stories of hardship. Thanks to you, they leave with hope, skills and tools to rebuild their lives.

Your support has allowed us to expand life-changing education and training opportunities. Through our Career and Technical Academy programs, participants earn certifications and gain skills in fields like Solar Installation, Welding and Cybersecurity. Courses like Digital Literacy, Office Productivity and Financial Literacy empower job-seekers to succeed in today’s workforce.

Beyond training, our holistic services, like Connecting Forward, provide the support individuals need to thrive. Through partnerships with hundreds of employers, we’ve connected clients with meaningful jobs, with 73% of placements outside Goodwill.

Looking ahead, we are excited about the future. Soon, we will open our new Opportunity Campus in Nashville’s Metro Center. This campus, the largest mission-related project in our 67-year history, will include the Excel Center, a tuition-free public high school for adults, as well as a Career and Technical Academy, a Child Care Center and a Goodwill Career Solutions Center. This transformative hub will provide vital resources, close achievement gaps and increase economic mobility for countless individuals and families, unlocking generational change.
